Please bring both character and tap shoes. Please bring your book, in case you are asked to stay and sing. Please prepare something in the style of Kiss Me Kate.

Seeking Equity male and female dancers who sing. All must be strong jazz and tap dancers with ballet technique.

HORTENSIO / ENSEMBLE
To play early 30s. Doubles as an actor and suitor to Bianca in the Taming of The Shrew musical. Must be a wonderful athletic dancer, with strong tap skill (there is a tap feature for this role). Must have good tenor singing voice.

GREMIO / ENSEMBLE
To play early 30s. Doubles as an actor and suitor to Bianca in the Taming of The Shrew musical. Must be a wonderful athletic dancer, with strong tap skill (there is a tap feature for this role). Must have good baritone singing voice. May understudy Bill Calhoun.

STAGEHAND #1/CAB DRIVER/ NATHANIEL
To play early 30s. Funny character singer/dancer.

FEMALE ENSEMBLE 1
To play late 20s to early 30s. Must be a great singer and dancer with tap experience and strong comic sensibility. Will understudy Bianca.

FEMALE ENSEMBLE 2
To play late 20s to early 30s. Must be a great dancer and singer with a strong belt and some tap experience. Actress must understudy Hattie.

FEMALE ENSEMBLE 3
To play late 20s to early 30s. Must be a great singer and dancer with tap experience.
