TYA 535.25/week
SEEKING
Equity Actors and musical theater performers for our full TYA season.
Actors will be signed on as Actor/ASMs.
Performers of all ethnic and racial backgrounds are encouraged to attend.
PREPARATION
All actors must prepare a comedic, contemporary monologue, no longer than 90 seconds. For those actors wishing to be considered for a musical, you must also prepare 16 bars of a standard musical theater song.
Piano accompaniment will be provided.

This world premiere Kennedy Center commission Based on Mark Twain’s The Prince and the Pauper, comes a new musical with a digital, hip-hop infused twist. With music played live onstage through looping machines and drum pads, this retelling of the classic tale examines race, class, the wealth divide, and what it means to walk in someone else’s shoes.

This world premiere Kennedy Center Commission based on Mo Willem's loved book, is about how it’s not easy being The Pigeon-- you never get to do ANYTHING! But when the Bus Driver has a crisis that threatens to make her passengers (gasp!) late, maybe that wily bird CAN do something. Starring an innovative mix of actors, puppets, songs, and feathers, this musical is sure to get everyone’s wings flapping.

A musical journey inspired by the life and music of Tuelo Minah. Tuelo was a quiet little girl living in South Africa, who one day sets out on a journey to find the voice trapped within her. Weaving musically from apartheid South Africa, to America, from a girl to a woman. Told through 360 projection with a live band amongst the audience, this poetic play convinces us that we have the power to define our own destiny and every dream is attainable.

One-Week Per-Performance Tier I Contracts: $121.50 per performance.
Exact Dates to be determined, although the program generally holds three to seven Developmental Readings a Season.
