Equity female actors who sing for 3 available roles.

Preparation
Please go the Hippodrome’s audition site and choose 1 of the 3 sides to perform.

Sides will also be available at the auditions.
In addition, please prepare a 1 minute country song.
Bring picture and resume.
Other Dates
First rehearsal is May 8, 2015. Production will open May 29 and is set to close June 21 with possible extensions

Any age or race, Belt up to a D, a twice divorced L.A. receptionist originally from Texas dealing with a misogynistic boss, think 9 To 5, a “citified” country girl, beautiful, sexy, smart and knows what men want.
Darlene
20s, any race, Belt up to a D, a sweet Daddy’s girl from a coal mining town in West Virginia and the Mississippi Delta, survived the teenage death of her boyfriend and now takes care of her infirm father, innocent and naive, but knows that music connects her to who she wants to be, beautiful, all-natural girl
Angela
Any age or race, Belt up to a D, an overworked and underappreciated Texas housewife, a feisty independent woman with a great sense of humor, who worships at the altar of Roseanne Barr, probably a bit curvy and buxom, having kids has not killed her sex drive or her dreams of being a country singer.
