SLASHER: A HORRIFYING COMEDY by Allison Moore
Dir: Lauren Caldwell
1st reh: 9/26/14
Runs: 10/17-11/9/14

A Florida Premiere! When she's cast as the ''last girl'' in a low-budget slasher flick, Sheena thinks it's the big break she's been waiting for. But news of the movie unleashes her malingering mother's thwarted feminist rage, & Mom is prepared to do anything to stop filming...even if it kills her.

Sheena McKinney: 21, girl-next-door kind of pretty. Not book-smart, but a survivor.
Hildy McKinney: 15, Sheena‘s little sister. Smarter than Sheena, but less capable in a crisis.

Frances McKinney: 40-50, their mother. Angry, thwarted feminist with a questionable disability. Gets around her house with the aid of a li‘l rascal scooter. Loud.

Marc Hunter: 35-40, a D-list director & recovering alcoholic & sex addict. Tells everyone he‘s younger than he is.

Jody Joshi: 23, an undergrad film school dude. Capable, knows his stuff, but kind of a kiss-ass.

Christi Garcia: 23-30, Assistant Director of the Holy Shepherd Justice League. Very put together, as if she‘s always ready to make a statement on camera. Not to be underestimated. This actor also plays: Bridget/Marcy/Beth/Madison - attractive young women who are killed in various ways & Woman/Car Hop/Radio Announcer/News Anchor

WINTER WONDERETTES: The New 60s Christmas Musical by Roger Bean
Dir: TBA
1st reh: 11/7/14
Runs: 11/28-12/21/14

When Santa vanishes from the Harper’s Hardware Holiday Party, the Wonderettes spring into action & save the day by putting on a Christmas show. With tinsel-like shimmer & the voices of angels, this hilarious celebration of 60s girl-groups includes dozens of holiday pop standards including ''Winter Wonderland,'' ''Jingle Bell Rock'' & ''Santa Clause is Coming to Town.''

Betty Jean Reynolds: 20s. Self-anointed clown of the group but has a strength that
belies her goofiness. (Strong Bass with big belt)

Cindy Lou Huffington: 20s. The ‘bad girl’ of the group, now reformed
(to a point). She is sexy with a dry & sassy wit but also has an incredible soft side & inner depth. (Mezzo Soprano with belt - sings lead on many songs)

Missy (Miller) Lee: 20s. Always the over-achiever of the group. She is an elementary school teacher & has an inner sexiness that comes out every once-in-a-while, much to her surprise & embarrassment. (Soprano with belt – floats very high vocals).

Suzy (Simpson) Stevens: 20s. Suzy is happy-go-lucky, a little giddy, a little
silly, & just a little pregnant. She is married to Ritchie, her high-school sweetheart, who is running the lights for the performance. (Mezzo Alto with big belt.)

Suddenly, their movie-star sister Masha, swoops in with her new boy toy Spike. Old resentments flare up, eventually leading to threats to sell the house. A tribute to live theater, & to the resilience of Bart Simpson through the ages, Mr. Burns is an animated exploration of how the pop culture of one era might evolve into the mythology of another. What will endure when the cataclysm arrives—when the grid fails, society crumbles, & we’re faced with the task of rebuilding? Anne Washburn’s imaginative dark comedy propels us forward nearly a century, following a new civilization stumbling into its future.

THE TWO MUSKETEERS by Jon Jory

Runs: 4/10-5/3/15

When a small acting company eliminates one Musketeer from their production of The Three Musketeers due to budget constraints, the rest of the cast must sally forth bravely with only two. The classic tale of d'Artagnan & his sword-fighting friends is presented by a hilariously self-aware cast of six, with romance, wit, & derring-do to spare. This low-tech, high-comedy adaptation is a witty send-up of Alexandre Dumas' beloved adventure.

Actor 1 – Athos, The King, Jeweler

Actor 4 – D’Artagnan’s father, De Treville, Cardinal Richelieu, Messenger, Buckingham’s Servant, Abbess, Porthos
