Seeking
Equity actors, men and women, for various roles.

See breakdown

Preparation
Prepare both:
1) a short, memorized, Shakespearean monologue
2) sides provided on request or at the theatre

No English accents, but dexterity with blank verse and experience with Shakespeare preferred.

Bring picture and resume, stapled together.

Seeking AEA actors for the following:

Male:

Claudius, late 40s – early 50s, Charismatic, charming, sexy, with a powerful presence.

Polonius, 50s-60s, Fancies himself a gifted and serious Political Figure. Thinks very highly of himself.

Laertes, 20s, A gifted swordsman (rapier). Jealous. Not an intellectual. Physical actor.

Horatio, 20s, Hamlet’s confident, and mirror in a way. He’s kind and efficient. *Will also see EMC’s for this role, see appointment notes.


Female:

Gertrude, late 40s-early 50s, Sensual. Sexy. Classy. With motherly/nurturing instincts.

Ophelia, 20s, Fragile. Poetic/ethereal beauty. Very much in touch with herself/feelings. *Will also see EMC’s for this role, see appointment notes.
