Jimmy Powers: Black male. Any Age. Billie’s new piano player and confidant. A strong jazz pianist, bandleader, and accompanist. Will play in a trio.

Linda O’Shea: Female. Age 19. Linda is highly intelligent, caring, and curious. She alternates between thinking she knows everything and thinking she knows nothing. Responsible and rarely impetuous.
Jo O’Shea (Mom): Female. Late 40s – Early 50s. Jo juggles more plates than Cirque de Soleil. A great mom who defines multi-tasking. She’s also a little more emotional and prone to outbursts than usual because, well…you’ll see.
Theresa ‘Terri’ Carmichael: Female. 50s. Linda’s aunt. Terri is definitely going through a rough patch, but she is not a depressive or phlegmatic. Think, Thelma Ritter or Eve Arden, with a touch of Dorothy Parker. Fast talker.
Becky O’Shea: Female. 13 years old. Becky is an unusual child. Bright and verbal. Full of energy and a crazy-huge imagination. She speaks quickly, not unlike some of the characters in the movies she loves, like “His Girl Friday.”
Mike O’Shea (Dad)/Father Lovett/Betty Heckenbach: CAST. 50s. Mike O’Shea: Mike is loud, loyal, and single-task oriented. His definition of a father is: breadwinner and disciplinarian. Lousy listener. Father Lovett: Father Lovett is an old school, Catholic priest. Egotistical, imperious, and pampered. Unused to any kind of pushback from parishioners or anyone else for that matter. Betty Heckenbach: There is a Betty Heckenbach in everyone’s life. She’s right up there with death and taxes – only less fun. A homely, judgmental, middle-aged woman sticking her big puss into other people’s business.

Rogers: Male. Mid 30s – Mid 50s. A loyal and dignified servant. He and his wife were hired to be caretakers of the island. They are accused of the demise of their former employer.
Mrs. Rogers: Female. Mid 30s – Mid 50s. Also a servant. A frail and anxious woman.
Fred Narracott: Male. 20s – 30s. He is a native to the area and captains the ferry that runs to and from the island.
Vera Claythorne: Female. Mid 20s-30s. Vera is an attractive, intelligent, and capable young woman. However, her dark past has a deep hold on her. As the grizzly events unfold, Vera begins to unravel.
Philip Lombard: Male. Early 30s. Mysterious and confident, Philip was a former mercenary soldier in Africa. He is charming and bold. He is enamored with Vera, which becomes a weakness.
Anthony Martson: Male. Mid 20s. An arrogant, self-centered, rich, young man.
William Blore: Male. Mid 40s – 60. A former police officer. On the island, Blore is bold and confident.
General MacKenzie: Male. 50s – 70s. An upright, yet gentle, older man. He is a retired World War I general. Harbors guilt for some of his choices in war.
Emily Brent: Female. Mid 60s – Mid 80s. A highly religious, judgmental, upper-class stately woman. Shows no remorse about past indiscretions and her treatment of people in lower classes than she occupies.
Sir Lawrence Wargrave: Male. 50s-70s. A recently retired judge, who is lured to the island by an acquaintance. He is a highly intelligent man with a commanding personality. Due to his past judicial experience and passion for justice, he is a natural leader and authority amongst the other characters.
Dr. Armstrong: Male. Mid 40s. A successful physician, who is popular amongst the upper-class in London. He is a people-pleaser, which tends to make him gullible and timid. A recovering alcoholic.

Charlie Martin: Male. 40s. Charlie is the local mailman and a longtime family-friend of the Thayers. A native New-Englander.
Chelsea Thayer Wayne: Female. 40s. Daughter of Ethel and Norman. She is an attractive and pleasant woman. Divorced, but recently engaged to Bill Ray, whom she is bringing home to meet her parents.
