CONTRACT
URTA Tier One: $583 / week min.
SEEKING
SEEKING: One male and one female AEA actor for Easy Virtue, one male AEA actor/singer for Cabaret, as well as possible emergency replacements. See breakdown.
NOTE: Local Boca Raton Performers strongly encouraged to attend
PREPARATION
Please bring 2 Headshots and Resumes. For Easy Virtue – Prepare a 1 to 2-minute monologue in the style of Noel Coward with a British R.P. (High British) accent if possible. For Cabaret – Prepare a brief song in the style of Cabaret (or 16 bars if you are also doing a monologue). Please bring sheet music.

Seeking the following AEA roles:
Colonel Whittaker --- He is age 45 to 55. Handsome, charming, affable ex-military officer, who is henpecked by his wife, is clearly weary of the world and has distanced himself from his family. He desires a life of freedom and is unfulfilled.
Mrs. Whittaker ---She is age 45 to 55. A highly moral woman, who is conscious of social standing, is critical of everyone and rigid in her beliefs. She dominates her husband and seeks to control her family. She is quick witted and has an acid tongue.

Seeking the following AEA roles:
Herr Schultz – One of Fraulein Schneider’s roomers and the proprietor of a fruit shop. A Baritone who is comfortable with stage movement and light dance. He is a mature Jewish man of middle age.
The following AEA roles are cast. Seeking possible emergency replacements only:
Fraulein Schneider -- A landlady who rents rooms in her large flat. An Alto who is comfortable with stage movement and light dance. A mature woman.
Fraulein Kost – Another of Fraulein Schneider’s roomers. Alto/Mezzo. She earns money by offering favors to sailors – She should exhibit a strong sexual comfort and commanding nature. Comfortable with stage movement.

Directions: FAU is located on Glades Road between I-95 and U.S. 1 /Federal Hwy.
From Interstate 95:
1. Travelling east on Glades Road, continue past the main campus entrance that is on 10th avenue.
2. Turn left into the secondary campus entrance at NW 13th Street, where there is a traffic light (once on the campus, it will be called E. University Drive).
3. Make the second left onto Arts Avenue
4. Continue along Arts Avenue to the parking lot on your right. Park at one of the meters.
5. It is a short walk (past the pond) to the theatre.
From Federal Highway:
1. Travelling west on Glades Road, prepare to make a right turn after 1.6 miles, onto NW 13th Street, where there is a traffic light (once in the campus, it will be called E. University Drive).
2. Make the second left onto Arts Avenue
3. Continue along Arts Avenue to the parking garage on your left side, or the parking lot on your right.
4. It is a short walk (past the pond) to the theatre.
After you have parked: Walk on Arts Ave. toward campus. After it turns to the left, look for the short bell tower on your right. (PA Building) Enter there and go past the Art Gallery. Wait in the lobby, and we will be with you shortly.
