Synopsis: The internationally popular game is now a fun filled musical which brings the world's best know suspects to life and invites the audience to help solve the mystery: who killed Mr. Boddy, in what room and with what weapon. Performers of all ethnic background encouraged to audition - actively seeking non-traditional casting opportunities.
MR. BODDY - Charismatic, handsome, playful host, 30s. A soaring baritone/tenor.
MRS. PEACOCK - Acerbic, manipulative, sexy socialite; plays 40s. Mezzo with belt.
PROFESSOR PLUM - Astute intellectual with a wry sense of humor; plays 30s-40s. Baritone.
MISS SCARLET - Shrewd, very attractive vixen; 20s. Wide vocal range with belt.
COLONEL MUSTARD - Pompous, randy military man; plays 40s-50s. Baritone.
MRS. WHITE - Fun-loving cockney maid, portrayed by a man; plays 40s-50s. Bari-tenor.

DONNA
(late 30s-early 40s – the mother of a 20 year old girl) Attractive and free-spirited. A former lead singer in a group called “Donna and the Dynamos” who now owns and runs a hotel/casino on a Greek island. A strong feminist who also has a zany and vulnerable side. Principal role.
SOPHIE
(18-25) A very special young woman who is determined to find the romance and happiness she feels eluded her mother. Has a wild, zany spirit even though she pursues a conventional marriage. Pop soprano. Principal role.
TANYA
(late 30s-early 40s) A former singer in the “Dynamos”. Rich, sophisticated, acerbic, funny, and witty. Supporting Principal role.
ROSIE
(late 30s-early 40s) Also a former singer in the “Dynamos” who now writes for and runs a feminist press. She’s confident, strong, and funny on the outside but shy underneath. Kooky and fun, good comic actress, bit of a clown. Actress who sings. Supporting Principal role.
LISA
(18-25) Sophie’s friend who arrives to be a bridesmaid. Very energetic and kooky. Should be African-American, Hispanic-American, Asian-American, Native American or any non Caucasian young woman. Should sing and dance well. Featured Ensemble role.
ALI
(18-25) Sophie’s friend. Impulsive and fun. Should contrast to Lisa and Sophie. Featured Ensemble role.
SAM
(35-45) May be Sophie’s father. Left Donna 20 years ago because he was engaged to another woman. Charming, successful architect. Actor who sings. Baritone. Supporting Principal role.
HARRY
(35-45) May be Sophie’s father. British financier, weathy, buttoned-up, and conservative but trying to reconnect with his freer, youthful self. Must do a very convincing English accent. Also an actor who sings. High baritone, tenor. Supporting Principal role.
BILL
(35-45) May be Sophie’s father. A travel writer with no possessions or strings. Good-natured, always ready for adventure. Funny, preferably a big or imposing man. Supporting Principal role.
SKY
(late 20s) Sophie’s fiance. Athletic, attractive – has given up his life as a successful young businessman in order to make over Donna’s taverna and marry Sophie. Featured Ensemble role.
PEPPER

late 20s, a kind-hearted, spirited Southern charmer. She acts as a narrator of sorts, tying the scenes together.
LIBBY RUTH AMES
late 40s, hopeless romantic, sweet country woman, plain-spoken and guileless . Believes, in spite of evidence to the contrary, that her friends can find the very same happiness she has found in her perfect marriage.
SEDALIA ELLICOTT
60s, a gregarious, energetic Virginia hostess and life-force. A no-nonsense, exacting wedding planner who is so enamored with her establishment’s reputation of never having lost a bride that she is not above employing a few extreme tactics in preserving it.
MONETTE GENTRY
late 40s, kinda shy, kinda trashy, Southern-to-the-bone flirt. Continues to test her friends’ love and patience with all-too-frequent trips down the aisle.
CHARLIE COLLINS
late 40s, tree-hugging, Birkenstock-wearing, acerbic Southern free spirit. Charlie discovers that marital bliss is not the end of her rainbow and panics when the opportunity presents itself.
DEEDRA WINGATE
late 40s, headstrong with a dry wit, no-nonsense Northern transplant. Her ‘rock solid’ union hangs by a thread when she discovers her husband not only has a wandering eye, but the hands to match.

Synopsis: A drama of great tenderness, charm and beauty, The Glass Menagerie is one of the most famous plays of the modern theatre.
Seeking:
Amanda Wingfield
45-65 years. An aging Southern belle clinging to her memories of a more genteel time and place; deserted by her husband, she is left alone to care for her two children; she is a fierce survivor scraping by to make ends meet. Amanda is both sensitive and harsh. She is charming and displays a sense of humor yet, she can succumb to bouts of manipulation and cruelty.
Tom Wingfield
25-40. The play's narrator, he recounts memories of his family to the audience; languishing in a dead-end job in the shoe warehouse, Tom is a restless dreamer, torn between his responsibility to his family and chasing his desires. Explosive, mercurial, lonely, he is deeply devoted to his sister and constantly at odds with his mother.
Laura Wingfield
20-30. Sensitive and painfully shy; a childhood illness has left her physically impaired; she seeks refuge from reality in an imaginary world of glass animals and old records. She is a gentle and kind soul with a tender regard for her mother and brother.
Jim O’Connor
20-35. The “Gentleman Caller,” a co-worker of Tom's from the warehouse and a former classmate of Laura's; he is your average, everyday, nice guy; he has an easygoing demeanor. His popularity and promise peaked in high school, but he continues to approach the world with a positive outlook.
