Breakdown
Synopsis: Suffering from a severe case of the blues, a young man gets the surprise of his life when “the greatest band around” pops out of his radio to cure what ails him. The show features joyful swing and bouncing be-bop tunes like “Let the Good Times Roll,” “Is You Is or Is You Ain’t My Baby” and “Choo Choo Ch’Boogie.”

(20’s, Male, African American): A stubborn guy who drinks too much and doesn’t want to admit he did wrong by his girl. A strong comedic actor with a nice voice for jazz and basic to strong dance skills.
[BIG MOE]
(20-35, African American): The leader of the Five Moes band. Large in stature. Trying to educate young Nomax. A strong actor, singer, and dancer. Usually a Baritone.
[EAT MOE]
(20-35, Male, African American): A singer in the Five Moes band. Always hungry. A strong singer and dancer. Would be nice if he was a bass-baritone, but could be picked up by someone else.
[FOUR-EYED MOE]
(20-35, Male, African American): A singer in the Five Moes band. A strong singer and dancer. Charismatic, a gift with humor. Idealistically a high Baritone.
[LITTLE MOE]
(20-35, Male, African American): A singer in the Five Moes band. A strong singer and dancer. Usually a tenor idealistically up to a high C, though this could be picked up by someone else. Small in stature
[NO MOE]
(20-35, Male, African American): A singer in the Five Moes band. A strong singer and dancer. Charismatic, commanding. He is sexy and handsome.
