Auditions will be run on a first come, first served basis. Doors will open at 10 AM to begin sign-ups.

$435 weekly minimum (SPT 3) - will be revised pursuant to tier level increase in 2025

SEEKING

Equity actors for roles in Depot Theatre's 2025 Season (see breakdown).

PREPARATION

Please prepare a brief cut of an up-tempo and a brief cut of a ballad in the style of the show of interest: FIRST DATE contemporary Broadway (pop/rock) and MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, rock, gospel, country, and R&B. For plays: prepare a 1-2 minute monologue in the style of the show (dark comedy) British accent for RADIANT, and American accent for ROOMMATE. See breakdown for production-specific preparation for MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET. Please bring your headshot and resume stapled together.

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET

  • ELVIS: 20s; male; actor/singer/guitar player. Sound and look somewhat like Elvis without being an “impersonator.” Tenor-Baritone.
  • JERRY LEE LEWIS: 20s-early 30s; male; actor/singer/pianist. A superb piano player, able to play like Jerry Lee Lewis; fun, energetic; comic skills a plus. Tenor.
  • CARL PERKINS: mid 20s; male; actor/singer/guitar player (lead guitar); Must be an excellent lead guitarist. Tenor.
  • JOHNNY CASH: late 20s-late 30s; male; singer/guitar player. Sounds and look somewhat like Johnny without being an “impersonator.”
  • SAM PHILLIPS: mid-30s-40s; “Father of Rock ‘n’ Roll” and founder of Sun Records who brought the “Million Dollar Quartet” together on that fateful night. NOTE: Non-Singing Role.
  • DYANNE: 20s-early 30s; Excellent singer, any ethnicity. Mezzo Soprano w/Belt.

THE ROOMMATE
