About the play:
Based on an actual event in 1964 during the Goldwater/Johnson campaign, a Madison Avenue advertising team unleashes the most devastating televised political ad ever conceived, the “Daisy” ad. It ran only once and was immediately banned but its impact was – and is – still felt.
Time and Place:
1960’s New York City and Washington, D.C.

Louise Brown – Female, Caucasian, late 30s, A copywriter with the advertising firm of Doyle Dane Bernbach.
Tony Schwartz – Male, early 40s, Caucasian.. A sound archivist, media specialist, and agoraphobe.
Clifford Lewis – Male, late 20s - early 30s. African-American. A White House lawyer.
Bill Bernbach – Male, early 50s, Caucasian. The creative director of the firm that bears his name.
Sid Myers – Male, late 20s - mid-30s, Caucasian. An art director with Doyle Dane Bernbach.
Aaron Ehrlich – Male, early 40s, Caucasian. A television producer with Doyle Dane Bernbach
