Equity Dancers for chorus in City Center Encores! 2024 Season.
ONCE UPON A MATTRESS:
ENSEMBLE: Any gender, any ethnicity, 20s — 30s. Dancers who sing to play ladies-in-waiting, knights, soldiers, servants, musicians, etc. Proficient in classic jazz, partnering, and some tap.
JELLY'S LAST JAM:
ENSEMBLE: Any gender, Black, 20s — 40s. They embody the spirit of New Orleans playing various denizens of Jelly's past. A multitude of musicians, dancers, and performers who bring the energy and vibrancy of the jazz era to life. Strong tappers, also versed in partnering, swing, musical theatre dance, and jazz. Able to sing.
MELROSE BROTHERS: Male (cis, transgender or nobinary). White, 40s. Two ruthless club owners who have scrupulously kept Jelly in his place. Dance/tap skills.
Please come warmed up and prepared to dance. Please bring character heels, character flats, and sneakers. Please bring tap shoes if you have tap experience. Please bring a headshot and resume stapled together.
