Equity actors for roles in Court Theatre's 2022-23 Season (see breakdown).
Actors of all ethnicities, physical abilities, sizes, ages and gender identities who connect with and would be excited to audition for one of the productions included in our season are encouraged to submit.
This is our virtual EPA! Nothing can replace the energy and excitement of being in the room with you - but the silver lining is the access these virtual auditions provide. This virtual EPA is required - but also celebrated. Actors auditioning are being considered for our upcoming season (productions on our stage, staged readings, workshops and understudy opportunities).
INSTRUCTIONS
Please share with us one (1) monologue of your choice. Please use a piece that showcases your strengths. The monologue should not exceed two (2) minutes in length. Begin with a slate (your name, pronouns, agent (if you have one) and a brief greeting. The audition should be recorded and sent to us as an unlisted VIMEO or YOUTUBE link. Please be sure to include the password in password protected submissions. Submissions should be emailed and must have EPA in the subject.

MIRIAM MAKEBA: mid 60s, female identified, Stokely's first wife.
GLORIA RICHARDSON: mid 70s, female identified, one of Stokely's many mothers of the movement.
REVEREND SMILES: 30s, female identified, a fictitious minister of ceremonies for Stokely's memorial in New York City in 1998.
