GRIZABELLA - Female identifying, The glamour cat. Age range 35-50. Accomplished singer with wide dramatic range of vocal timbre, Mezzo with strong belt to E flat.
RUM TUM TUGGER - Male, 25 – 35, The ‘rock-star’ cat, with wild comedic sexuality. A charismatic performer with a fantastic pop/rock voice and strong falsetto. An outstanding presence with good dance skills.
JENNYANYDOTS - Female, 25 – 45, The ‘Gumbie Cat’. Motherly, an Edwardian ‘do-gooder’. A comedic character with excellent movement and tap dancing skills. Strong singer with high Db.
MR. MISTOFFELEES - Male, 20 - 32, The magician – impish, with an expansive personality. A phenomenal principal dancer. Gymnastic skills and tricks a plus. Good high baritone vocals.
BUSTOPHER JONES - Male, Older. Operatic Tenor. A fat upper-class cat who is respected by all. He is described as the Brummell of cats due to his immaculate pelt, which resembles a tuxedo and spats.
GUS - Old. Asparagus a.k.a. Gus: The Theatre Cat. He spends his time reminiscing about his past exploits when he used to be a famous theatre actor.
DUETERONOMY - Older. High Baritone / Tenor. Is the Jellicle Cats’ wise and respected older leader. Sees the value of each and every cat within the Jellicle Tribe.
BOMBALURINA - Female. 20s. Mezzo-Soprano. High belt. Flirts with many male cats, is a dance-heavy role. A saucy red female. A principal vocalist and dancer.
DEMETER - Female. 20s. A troubled and skittish queen; she is best friends with Bombalurina and the two share an intense hatred for Macavity. A principal vocalist.
VICTORIA - Female. 20s. a.k.a. the White Cat. A naive and shy white kitten who is known for her beauty and poise. She is a featured dancer and is the first character to touch Grizabella.
MUNKUSTRAP - Male. 30s. A grey tabby tomcat who is the storyteller and protector of the Jellicle tribe. He is Old Deuteronomy's second-in-command and the show's main narrator.
MUNGOJERRIE - Male. 30s. A mischievous troublemaker, he is one-half of a notorious duo of cat burglars along with Rumpleteazer.
RUMPLETEASER - Female. 20s. A mischievous troublemaker, she is one half of a notorious duo of cat burglars along with Mungojerrie.
SKIMBLESHANKS - Male. 30s. An upbeat and active orange tabby cat, who lives on the mail trains and acts as an unofficial chaperone. Quirky.
MACAVITY – Male. The show's only real villain and a literary allusion to the Sherlock Holmes character Professor Moriarty. He goes out of his way to terrorize the Jellicles.
PLATO - Male. Doubles as Macavity.
CASANDRA – A brown pointed Queen. Glamorous and snooty with a stand-offish air.
SILLABULB - Female. Young. Sillabub is a sweet, affectionate, innocent kitten, typically the youngest of the tribe. She gets along with the entire tribe thanks to her friendly and welcoming disposition; the older cats are protective of her while the younger cats enjoy playing with her.
TUMBLEBRUTUS - Male. 20s. He is a playful young kitten, often performing acrobatics as well as being a strong dancer.
