BILLY BIGELOW
CAST (Nicholas Rodriguez)
SEEKING:
JULIE JORDAN
Female, late 20s-early 30s, any race. Soprano. A very shy but headstrong young woman who works in a mill in a small New England town. She falls for Billy and recognizes that it will not come to a happy ending. Still, she prefers Billy over someone more traditional.
CARRIE PIPPERIDGE
Female, late 20s-early 30s, any race. Soprano. Carrie is Julie’s best friend and is a much more conventional young woman for her time. Lively, fun and confident. She marries Mr. Snow and is happy to be subservient to him.
NETTIE FOWLER
Female, 40s-50s, any race. Mezzo soprano. Julie’s older and wiser cousin (like an Aunt). A warm and hearty woman, she runs a local eating establishment. She takes in Julie and the unemployed Billy after their wedding. Sings ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone” and “June Is Bustin’ Out All Over”.
ENOCH SNOW
Male, late 20s-early 30s, any race. Tenor. An honest, hardworking, rugged New England fisherman. Mr. Snow has his whole life planned out including his future with his betrothed, Carrie. He has big dreams of expanding his fishing business and growing his family, which he achieves successfully.
