SEEKING:
OLIVIA BENNETT: African American, Female, age range 30-40 years old. A legal aid attorney tasked with representing a black teenager accused of murder. In her search for the truth, she is forced to face her own devastating truths about marriage, race and the woman she’s chosen to be.
OLEN PORTER: African American, Male, age range 30-45 years old A photographer from New Orleans who becomes entangled in a web of deceit and deception. A truth teller of sorts, wise, confident and arrogant with swagger and soul. NEW ORLEANS ACCENT.
DESHAWN PAYNE: African American, Male, 18+ to play a 15-year-old boy. A black youth accused of murdering a white man from the other side of town. Fiercely angry and fiercely intelligent.
MARK BENNETT: Caucasian, Male, age 30-40 years old. A successful corporate attorney. Wealthy, good-looking and charismatic. A man who sees the world through rose colored glasses is forced to confront the reality of race, injustice and loss as his perfect life and marriage slowly crumble to pieces around him.
EVELYN PAYNE: African American, Female, age 40-55 years. The tormented mother of a black teenager accused of murder, desperately trying to save her son from the injustices of a broken system.
KATHERINE MORGAN: Caucasian, Female, age 25-40 years old. A corporate attorney who joins the law firm with intentions of climbing the corporate later by any means necessary. Smart, manipulative, sexy and confident.
