CONTRACT
SPT Minimum - $344/wk
SEEKING
A collaborative ensemble of 9 highly skilled and versatile actors/actresses of various ages (20's-60's), physical types and race. Some actors need to sing opera quite well (see character breakdown). Most actors play various roles.
PREPARATION
Prepare a monologue (not to exceed 3 minutes) from any play that shows verbal dexterity, strong character intention and serio-comic ability. Additionally, for the role of Babette, please be prepared to demonstrate a French dialect, for Philippa and Player 3, sing a short aria/art song acapella.

Amphibian Stage Productions is a non-profit theatre company founded in 2000 by three alumni of TCU's Department of Theatre who strive to produce innovative and engaging works of theatre that challenge the way we see the world around us. 2019 will be the company's 20th season, Amphibian has produced numerous groundbreaking and challenging plays (some regional premieres, others US or world premieres) that foster a deeper understanding of ourselves as members of the global community. The company is widely recognized for its stylistically and thematically varied scripts.
Babette: A mysterious French woman (female, 30's-40's)
Martine: Elder Daughter of the Dean (female 30's-40's)
Philippa: Younger Daughter of the Dean, has a beautiful soprano voice, sings excerpts from Don Giovanni (female, 20's-40's)
Player 1: Plays the strict and formidable Dean and various other roles (male, 40's-60's)
Player 2: Plays various comedic roles, young and old, male and female (female, 20's-40's)
Player 3: Plays Achille Papin and various other roles, has a strong baritone voice, sings excerpts from Don Giovanni (male, 30's-50's)
Player 4: Plays Lowenhielm and various other roles (male, 20's-40's)
Player 5: Plays various roles (Male in 20's)
Player 6: Plays various roles (Female, 30's-50's)
