Argyle Theatre is located in Babylon, Long Island (about an hour from midtown Manhattan, via Long Island Railroad) - theatre provides transportation for all performers. All shows rehearse in Manhattan before moving to Long Island for tech/performances.

[MRS. CRATCHIT] 30s, female, any race/ethnicity. Vocal range: A3-E5. Tiny Tim's mother and Mr. Cratchit's wife. She is a loving mother who tries to provide the best for her children with what she's got.
[FEZZIWIG] 30s-50s, male, any race/ethnicity. Vocal range: A3-B5. A portly, jolly man who used to throw a huge Christmas party every year for the community. He was Scrooge's first boss and after teaching him all he knew, he became deeply disappointed in the man Scrooge became.
[MRS. FEZZIWIG] 30s-50s, female, any race/ethnicity. Vocal range: A3-A5. The consummate hostess and Mr. Fezziwig's wife, she loved to help throw the Christmas party every year. She is prideful.
[FRED] 20s-30s, male, any race/ethnicity. Vocal range: A3-F5. Scrooge's nephew and only living relative. He is a pleasant young man who believes in the good a joyful Christmas spirit can make in the world.
[OLD HAG / GHOST OF CHRISTMAS FUTURE] 40s-60s, female, any race/ethnicity. Vocal range: A3-G5. A beautiful and terrifying wraith, the Ghost of Christmas Future is strong and silent as she shows Scrooge what will happen to him and those around him if he continues down the path he is currently treading.
[EMILY] early 20s, female, any race/ethnicity. Vocal range: A3-B5. Scrooge's fiancé from when they were young. She is a beautiful girl, not impressed or in need of money.
[ENSEMBLE ROLES] assorted ensemble roles, 18+, any race/ethnicity, any gender identity. Strong singers who dance well.
[CHILDREN ROLES] various ensemble roles for children ages 8 to 18, including YOUNG SCROOGE, FAN, and others. Strong singers who move well.

Performer also plays a variety of other roles including a member of a 60s style girl group. Strong belt (high straight tone soprano also useful) - should dance well.
[LORRAINE AND OTHERS] 20s-30s, female. Frankie’s girlfriend. Educated, not from Jersey, a career girl. Performer also plays a variety of other roles including a member of a 60s style girl group and a tough-as-nails Jersey girl. Strong high belt (to high F) (and high straight tone soprano also useful) - should dance well.
[FRANCINE VALLI AND OTHERS] 20s-30s, female. Frankie’s daughter - she’s named for, doted on, and deeply loved by Frankie. She’s a Jersey girl - vulnerably, she acts out to make up for lack of attention from her dad. Performer also plays a variety of other roles including a member of a 60s style girl group and a tough-as-nails Jersey girl. Strong high belt (to high F) (and high straight tone soprano also useful) - should dance well.
[NORM WAXMAN AND OTHERS] 20s-30s, male, white. Owns a private money lending agency. Performer will play various/assorted roles. Strong tenor/bari-tenor who moves well.
[BARRY BELSON AND OTHERS] 20s-40s, male, Black. Performer will play various/assorted roles. Strong tenor to high C, ideally with a strong falsetto to G above high C - with the ability to riff in rhythm-and-blues style.
[JOE PESCI AND OTHERS] 20s-30s, male, white - must be 5’9” or shorter. Young, energetic and funny - performer will play various/assorted roles, may cover Frankie.
[ENSEMBLE] 18+, any ethnicity/race, all gender identities. Strong singer/dancer/actors.

[FRUMA-SARAH] female, 30s. Belter to Eb. Lazar's Wolf's deceased first wife. She becomes enraged when her husband plans to wed Tzeitel.
