ELIGIBILITY:
You can come to this audition if …
>> You are an Active (paid-up) Member of Actors' Equity Association, AND
>> You will be under the age of 18 on October 7, 2010, AND
>> You are not currently a signed client of any agency.
APPOINTMENTS:
>> There will be no sign-up on audition day. E-mail your appointment request to
YouthAgentAccess@actorsequity.org
>> E-mailed appointment requests will be accepted until 12 Noon on October 7, 2010.
>> In your e-mail, give your name as it appears on your Equity Membership Card.
>> DO NOT SEND PHOTOS AND RESUMES IN YOUR E-MAIL. Bring these to the audition.
>> If you are eligible to come to this audition, you will audition in the order your e- mail is received (1st e-mail gets the 5 PM slot, 2nd e-mail gets the 5:05 PM slot, etc...until all slots up to 7:55 PM have been filled). Please request an appointment only if you are positive that you can audition at any time between 5 PM and 8 PM on October 7.
>> You will receive an e-mail confirmation of your audition time. To be sure of being seen, you must check in with the Equity Monitor outside the audition room at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time.
NOTES:
>> Only Equity Members who are eligible to attend these auditions will be scheduled for appointments, and theirs are the only e-mails that will receive a response.
>> PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE AGENTS’ OFFICES, AND DO NOT CALL EQUITY!!
AUDITION PREPARATION:
>> You will have a five-minute time slot. For this audition, prepare EITHER
a) a short song (about 2 minutes of whatever you do best: rock, country, musical theatre, etc.) OR
b) a short monologue (about 2 minutes) OR
c) a short song and a short monologue.
>> If you are singing, bring legible sheet music in the right key. An accompanist will be
provided.
>> Please bring THREE sets of your picture/resume, each set stapled back to back. Do not e-mail photo/resume!
>> Bring your Equity Card to the audition.
You will be auditioning for Equity-franchised agents from the following agencies
(which specialize in representing young performers):

Jordan Gill & Dornbaum, Inc.
