For possible replacements in the currently running Broadway production, seeking:
[ENSEMBLE DANCERS]
Characters are females and males, 20s – 30s, any ethnicity. Fit dancers with strong ballet technique, jazz technique, and partnering ability. Females must be proficient in pointe work. Must have powerful legit vocals, excellent musicianship, and tremendous personality. Principal understudy assignments for ANYA, DMITRY, GLEB et al. ENSEMBLE
PREPARATION
Bring character shoes and ballet slippers. Females, also bring pointe shoes. Males, also bring kneepads. Wear form-fitting clothing. In case you are asked to sing after dancing, prepare 16 bars of a musical theatre song in the style of Ahrens and Flaherty. Bring sheet music for your song; a piano accompanist will be provided. Bring a photo/resume stapled together.
