The American Shakespeare Center (ASC) casts troupes of ensemble actors. All actors will be cast in each of the plays in a season of rotating repertory and each actor will play a variety of roles, large and small. All actors must have strong classical training and experience. Musical ability is a plus.

For the 2015 Summer and Fall Seasons (7-month contract), the ASC is looking for the following general types (exact doubling will be determined when the acting troupe is cast):
Younger leading men:
Could play Octavius, Florizel, Lysander, Demetrius, Puck, Henry VI, Suffolk, Charles, Mucedorus, Segasto.
Younger leading women:
Could play Charmian, Perdita, Hermia, Helena, Joan, Amadine.
Leading men:
Could play Antony, Enobarbus, Leontes, Polixenes, Theseus, Oberon, York, Talbot, King of Aragon.
Leading women:
Could play Cleopatra, Hermione, Paulina, Titania, Margaret.
Character actors:
Could play Bottom, Puck, Camillo, Autolycus, Clown, Bremo, Mouse.

Could play Ferdinand, Leantio, Claudio, Tibalt, Nicusa, Raimond, Valentine, Scandal, Ben.
Younger leading women:
Could play Miranda, Isabella, Mariana, Aminta, Clarinda, Angelica, Pru.
Leading men:
Could play Prospero, Antonio, Sebastian, Fabricio, Hippolito, Duke of Florence, Vincentio, Angelo, Albert.
Leading women:
Could play Bianca, Livia, Isabella, Rosilla, Mrs Foresight, Mistress Frail.
Character actors:
Could play Caliban, Ariel, Gonzalo, Trinculo, Stephano, Overdone, Lucio, Pompey, Morillat, Franville, Lamure, Sir Sampson, Jeremy, Trapland, Foresight, Tattle.
The American Shakespeare Center has a strong history of non-traditional casting. We frequently cast women as male characters and sometimes men as female characters. We cast actors of color in any/all roles.
