SEEKING
Actors for 6 roles. ACCURATE IRISH ACCENT REQUIRED.
Alone it stands features six actors playing multiple characters. The key abilities are an ability to move well, core strength and a facility with accents and dialect. The play tells the story of a famous Irish rugby match in 1978. It is a comedy and we stage key scenes from the rugby match during the play.

- Seamus Dennison: Small brilliant, modest but fiercely determined rugby player . Tipperary accent.
- BJ Robertson Best player on NZ All Blacks team. Proud. New Zealand Accent.
Male 2:
- Spider 5’ 7” Preferable Red Haired . Spider 12 year old working class limerick boy.
- Tom Kiernan Munster Coach Rural Cork Middle Class.
- Graham Mourie New Zealand All Blacks Captain
Male 3:
Twenties
- Tony Ward 5’6”. Tony Ward Munster out half. Middle class Dublin accent. (20’s)
- Russ Thomas NZ All Blacks Coach (40’s)
- Monica 12 year old Limerick Girl.

- Stu Wilson (6’4). New Zealand Star player (20’s)

- Mary 5’5” (or under slight build). Mary working class Limerick woman Pregnant with twins

- Gary Knight NZ All black prop (these are the two biggest rugby players on the pitch) Tall all black fan.

- Lanky (6’5 ). Gerry’s best friend. Limerick working class.
- Donal Canniffe Munster Captain . Cork middle class.
