Clue plays in the Shoctor Theatre July 16 – August 7, 2022.
Based on the 1980's film and popular board game, Clue is opening this summer as a special presentation for Citadel audiences.
Invited to dinner by an unknown host, six party guests, along with the butler and the maid, suddenly find themselves in the centre of a murder plot. Each armed with a weapon, and some high-energy excitement and quick-witted banter, Scarlet, Peacock, Plum, Mustard, White and Green discover that any one of them could be the killer and all of them are suspects. Now they must work together to solve this whodunit before only one is left standing.
Based on the screenplay by Jonathan Lynn, Clue is written by award-winning playwright, Sandy Rustin. Director Nancy McAlear returns to the Citadel after four years, since directing Christmas at Pemberley in 2018.
"I'm very excited to be back at the Citadel working on such a fun play with such a talented group of people. I can't wait to share it with the Citadel audience. It should be a night of thrills, murder, and laughs, many laughs" says McAlear, who is an accomplished director and award-winning actress.
