Tickets are now on sale for Center Stage Jackson's dinner cabaret production, "What's New, Broadway?" Performances will be held over two weekends: April 5, 6, 7, and April 12, 13, 14, 2019, at the Sandhill Crane Vineyards (4724 Walz Rd. Jackson, MI 49201).
This cabaret will feature solos, duets, and group numbers from productions seen on Broadway in the last ten years. This event is intended for adult audiences and may contain adult language or situations. This cabaret is under the direction of Lisa Cryderman, producers are Kelly Crippen and Susanna Ellis, with technical direction by Chuck Edwards. Performers include Danielle Allore-Taylor, Bethany Bickel, Kristina Bradley, Lisa Cryderman, Adam Dempster-Pauley, Amanda Frerichs, David Gilman, Elise Hardcastle, Karen Kidder-Barrett, Betsy King, Jaime Lawrence, Victor McDermott, Chip Mezo, Joshua Monsoon, Alaina Sharp, and Aimie Smith. Musicians include Stephen Murphy (keyboard), Victor McDermott (bass/guitar), and Scott Moilanen (drums). The three course meal includes a caesar salad with parmesan crisps, rolls, and an entree selection of either creamy Tuscan chicken with spinach and sun-dried tomatoes or vegetarian cassoulet (french slow-cooked stew with veggies and cannellini beans). Dessert, served during intermission, includes angel food cake with fresh berries and whipped cream. All dishes served are gluten free, with the exception of the rolls.
