Sweat at Iowa Stage Theatre Company

Created by Nottage after more than two years spent in Reading, PA interviewing residents of the then poorest city in America, Sweat won the Pulitzer prize for the passion and humor of its vivid characters as they fight for their lives in a world that is changing around them faster than anyone can keep up.
