Iowa State Dance Team Championships at Wells Fargo Arena

The ISDTA Dance Championships involve over 270 high school dance teams and 20 college dance teams. The competition involves a variety of styles of dance including Pom, Hip Hop, Kick, Military, Prop, Lights, Hoopla, Novelty, Jazz, Lyrical, Show Production, Color Guard, Coed and All-Male. The teams are judged by an expert panel of judges with the criteria of Appearance, Choreography, Execution, Technique and Showmanship. Over 500 dancers participate in the two-day competition which takes place in Wells Fargo Arena and Hy-Vee Hall.
