Sip Savor Switch 2019 tickets are now on sale at the Des Moines Community Playhouse. The event, benefiting Playhouse programs, will be Saturday, Apr. 27. Sip Savor Switch patrons will tour four beautiful Des Moines homes, dining on delicious food from local superstar chefs at each stop. A private motorcoach will whisk guests from one house to the next. A limited number of tickets are available at dmplayhouse.com or by calling the Playhouse at 515-277-6261.
Sip Savor Switch participants will tour the homes of James Cord, Mike Simonson, Lyle and Janet Simpson, and Connie Wimer and Frank Fogarty. At each stop, guests will chat with one of the event's chefs: Tag Grandgeorge of Le Jardin Catering, Lynn Pritchard of Table 128, Ric Kerr of Tasteful Dinners, and Becky Smith of El Patio. All food and beverages, including wine pairings, are included in the ticket price.

The Playhouse, now in its 100th season, is one of the oldest and largest community theatres in the US. Located at the 42nd Street exit of I-235, the theatre has presented a full season of shows since 1919 and also offers a wide variety of educational experiences including classes for ages 4 to adult, theatre trips to New York, and volunteer opportunities onstage and backstage.
