Des Moines Performing Arts Appoints New Chairs & Members to Board of Directors

Des Moines Performing Arts (DMPA) has named two new members to the organization's board of directors at its most recent board meeting. They are:

- Dr. Michael Eberle, Eberle Animal Hospital

- Terry Johnson, Wells Fargo Wealth Management

Both Eberle and Johnson will serve a three-year term. Additionally, Des Moines Performing Arts has appointed the board of directors' chair and vice-chair for fiscal year 2013-2014:

- Chair: Thomas Brown, Brown National Lease

- Vice-Chair: Mary Kramer, U.S. Ambassador, Ret.

Des Moines Performing Arts President & CEO Jeff Chelesvig said, "We are excited about the new appointments and proud of the diverse representation of the community on our board. Thanks to their leadership and guidance, we are able to continue to provide Central Iowans the best in professional live theater."

Des Moines Performing Arts is a private not-for-profit organization celebrating 34 years of presenting the performing arts to Iowa and the surrounding states on three stages in Des Moines - the Civic Center, Stoner Theater and the Temple Theater.
