Be a part of the live taping of WHEEL OF MISFORTUNE, a new game show that invites contestants from the audience to compete in everyday challenges made frighteningly difficult. The final two contestants will go head to head in the Lighting Round and compete virtually in a game designed by Brian Freeland of Lida Project. The winner will win $333.

"WHEEL OF MISFORTUNE offers a really vibrant, accessible alternative to more traditional theatre in Denver-I'm in my twenties, and sometimes feel like I'm dragging my friends to see the shows I design, but I think I'll have an easier time with this one. We've got interactive games, awesome costumes for the audience participants, and lots and lots of glitter. Picture the cheesiness of 1970s 'Let's Make a Deal,' the fun of a 1990s 'Double Dare,' and the sheer insanity of human Tetris. Add some standard game show fare - charming hosts, glittery backdrops, chasing light bulbs, cash prizes and commercial breaks. Do that all on a dime, set it in 2013, pour some beer on it, and roll it in sprinkles. That's kind of what it's like." - Caitlin Ayer, Production Designer

"I am excited about the idea of developing a piece that comments on the cultural context of theatre as it relates to the post-modern zeitgeist of the American experience. The truth is, however, I'm in it for the cheap well drinks." - Bruce Montgomery, Host
