As Denver's best home for comedy and improv theater, The Voodoo Comedy Playhouse has a packed schedule for February and March. Offering shows five nights a week (Tuesday through Saturday) with a full bar that opens 30-mins prior to each performance, The Voodoo Comedy Playhouse is one of the hottest spots in town. Both bar and theater are all ages until 10:30 PM, then everything is strictly for the over 21 crowd. Get all the info and more at www.voodoocomedy.com.

Reoccurring Shows:

Drop-In Improv Class: Every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00 PM. No commitment necessary! Just learn the tips from some of Denver's best. $5 at the door.

Makeshift Shakespeare: Friday nights at 8:00 PM. Enjoy the absurdity of Shakespeare's comedies, the misfortune of his tragedies and the yesteryears of his histories as these brainy improvisers tell his stories in original weekly productions. $13 advance/$15 at the door.

Hit and Run: Musical Improv: Friday nights at 9:00 PM. Denver's original unscripted musical comedy team hits the stage every Friday night with brand new musicals based on audience suggestions. You'll enjoy an hour-long Broadway-style comedic event, completely created from scratch on stage. $13 advance/$15 door.

The Duel: Saturday nights at 10:00 PM. Denver's only improv cagematch! Hosted by Hot Nap, The Duel is a weekly competition show that pits two improv teams against each other in an all-out battle for first place comedic gold! $8 advance/$10 door.

Highlighted Shows:

Momma McCracken's Variety Show: February 22, 2018 at 8:00 PM. Momma McCracken, with her red checkered past, will serve more than tater tots at her variety show of sweet acts sandwiched between her bits. First, Momma processes outlandish life stories and ends with Momma tucking in the audience by offering unconventional candid motherly advice. Warning: Acts may contain sketchy characters, not-so-stand-up comics, improvised life forms and/or unheard-of music. $8 advance/$10 door.

Bent Improv: Thursday nights at 9:00 PM. Denver's only all-LGBTQ improv team is holding weekly improv jams at Voodoo and everyone is invited! Bent Improv is looking to find more LGBTQ improv talents to join the team. Stop in for this one to learn more. $8 advance/$10 door.

Professor Phelyx, From the Vest: March 10 at 9:00 PM. This 60-minute show will transport you back in time thanks to Professor Phelyx's Victorian-era parlour show. During this highly interactive show, participants will experience unique performances of mental magic and comedy. Just imagine mind-reading, psycho-kinetic metal bending, predictions and even what can only be explained as superbly undetectable sleight-of-hand that is all presented within inches of the audience. Truly unforgettable and baffling demonstrations await every guest! $13 advance/$15 door.

Cal Sheridan, The "C" Word: March 24 at 8:00 PM. Cal Sheridan has been on a bunch of Cool shows, such as "Chuck Roy's Dirty xx-Mas Show", and has hosted a whole bunch of shows at the Voodoo, including "Cal Sheridan: The Calmencement Address", "Cal Sheridan's Late Night Calentine's Special", and "The Voodoo Stands Up" as well as his special brand of shows, "Suit and Tie Comedy". There have been many at the Voodoo, such as "The Suit and Tie Comedy Special: One More Tie", "Under the MistleTie: A Suit and Tie Comedy Christmas Special", and "The Suit and Tie Comedy Special: Suits and Ties Four-ever!" $8 advance/$10 door
