Coming to Town Hall Arts Center for a limited engagement this October courtesy of our friends at Breckenridge Backstage Theatre is Love, Loss and What I Wore, written by Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron, based on the book by Ilene Beckerman. Original New York Production produced by Daryl Roth. Love, Loss and What I Wore is directed by Christopher Willard, Artistic Director of the Backstage Theatre in Breckenridge since 2005.

Eight popular Denver area actresses are featured in this production; you do not want to miss them in this limited run! October 18-20 performances feature Judy Phelan-Hill as Gingy and LuAnn Buckstein, Julia Owen, Paige Larson, and Sam Provenzano. Featured in the October 25-27 performances are Judy Phelan-Hill and Pam Clifton, Erica Johnson, Sheila Swanson McIntyre, and Sam Provenzano.

Proving that a great show is always in fashion, Love, Loss, and What I Wore has become an international hit. With its compulsively entertaining subject matter, this intimate collection of stories by Nora and Delia Ephron celebrated an accomplished two-and-a-half year run in New York's Westside Theatre. The show uses clothing and accessories and the memories they trigger to tell funny and often poignant stories that all women can relate to, creating one of the most enduring theatergoing experiences domestically and overseas.

"Funny, compelling...Brought down the house...but [the play] is not a comedy: A story about black cowboy boots becomes a sad tale of being underappreciated in a relationship; a tale of two women shopping for their wedding outfits ends bitter sweetly; and the recollection of a new bra is a quiet testament to a women's search for dignity while undergoing treatment for breast cancer." -NY Times. "So funny and so powerful; so dear and sweet; so remindful of our female wiles, our worries, our insecurities, our remembrances of mother, father, sisters, brothers, lovers-I think it can't miss." -WowOwow.com.

Town Hall's production opens October 18 and runs through October 27, 2013. Show times are Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. & Sundays at 2 p.m.
