Two weekends only! Town Hall Arts Center presents a remount of Vintage Theatre's critically acclaimed production of RFK - A Portrait of Robert Kennedy. Directed by Terry Dodd.

Featured in this production is James O'Hagan Murphy as Robert Francis Kennedy. James' Vintage Theatre credits include Joe Kennedy, Jr (and Jerry) in Grey Gardens and Joe (Pitt) in Angels in America, both highly acclaimed Vintage Theatre productions. His other Vintage roles are Jeffrey in Books on Tape and Carter in Fat Pig (a Vintage production performed at the Aurora Fox and Lake Dillon theatres). Other Colorado credits include Dr. Parker in Batboy, the Musical (Equinox); Torvald in A Dolls' House (Byers-Evans House Theatre); Dieter in Iddo Netanyahu's A Happy End (and Ami Dayan production at Bunport); Williamson in Glengarry Glen Ross (Edge); Guy in Some Girl(s) (Edge); Norman in Murderer (Firehouse); Mark in Southern Baptist Sissies (Theatre Out); Jimmy in Reefer Madness!(Equinox); Frankie in A Lie of the Mind (Paragon); George Baily in It's a Wonderful Life (Miner's Alley Playhouse); Archer in November (Avenue); and Raskolnikov in Crime and Punishment (Boulder Ensemble). During the day James works with the Colorado Shakespeare Festival and the Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence.

This tour-de-force one-man show breathes new life into the back-story of the Kennedy family. RFK creates a very human portrait of a politician and revisits some of the darker moments in U.S. History. Author Jack Holmes expands the well-known facts of a politician's life into a stirring metaphor for the struggle to believe in our government and our leaders.

RFK - A Portrait of Robert Kennedy, opens Friday, October 17, 2014 and runs through Sunday, October 26, 2014. Show times are Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. & Sundays at 2 p.m.
