Gunslinger, The Legend of Billy the Kid
June 25-Sept. 18
Tickets: $15.75 Adult; $13.75 Senior; $9.75 Children; $12.75 for groups of 20-plus.
The Cripple Creek tradition of Classic Summer Melodrama is alive and well! In this fast-pace play, we follow our hero, a 15-year-old Billy, as events (and villains) conspire against him, including the murder of his parents, and his own turn to outlaw. Three years pass before Billy returns home, and while much has changed in the world, two things have not - his need for vengeance, and his love for the beautiful Nell, the girl who had stolen his heart when he was just a boy. The play, originally written in 1906, is adapted for the Butte stage by Mickey Burdick. An all-new Summer Olio follows the show.
