The Second City's AMERICAN MIXTAPE Comes to Garner Galleria Theatre Tomorrow

The Second City's AMERICAN MIXTAPE plays The Garner Galleria Theatre June 4 through 29. Tickets are on sale now at Denvercenter.org.

From the company that launched the careers of Tina Fey, Seth Meyers, Eddie Murphy, Tim Meadows, Martin Short and Mike Myers among many other comedic icons, The Second City's newest Denver concoction pokes fun at relationships and politics and, perhaps, political relationships. Beginning as a small cabaret theatre on Chicago's north side in 1959, The Second City has grown to become a comedy empire building a robust business based on its core improvisational methodologies. Resident theatres in Chicago and Toronto create topical sketch comedy revues that satirize politics, culture and news of the day.

Beyond its stages, The Second City created the foremost school of improvisation-based arts in the world including training facilities in Chicago, Toronto and Los Angeles that currently enroll more than 3000 students.
