Set in the turbulent times of the Civil Rights Movement, The Meeting by Jeff Stetson, produced by Afterthought Theatre Co, centers on a fictional meeting between two real life icons, Malcolm X and Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who come together to discuss their separate points of view and approaches in the fight for equality.

Year of the Women
CRUNK (Creative Resources Uniting Neighborhood Kids) and the Black Actor's Guild come together as the Shadow Youth Ensemble to present the final production in Shadow Theatre Company's 13th Season celebrating women, mothers and daughters. Featuring original sketches, dancing and poetry devoted to a single year observing the woman in today's society.
