STAGE TUBE: First Look at Highlights of Arvada Center's TARZAN

The Arvada Center presents the Colorado stage debut of Tarzan® The Stage Musical directed by Gavin Mayer on Friday, July11 (Please note the Friday opening date). Tarzan® The Stage Musical features music and lyrics by British pop icon Phil Collins (drummer and lead singer for rock group Genesis), and is written by David Henry Hwang (M. Butterfly, Aida). Tarzan® The Stage Musical is based on the Disney animated film and the original book by Edgar Rice Burroughs. Performances run through August 3. Check out a first look at highlights below!

In addition to director Gavin Mayer, the creative team includes David Nehls (musical director), Kitty Skillman Hilsabeck (choreographer and dance captain), Brian Mallgrave (scene design), Meredith S. Murphy (costume design), David Thomas (sound design) and Shannon McKinney (light design). The Arvada Center artistic producer is Rod A. Lansberry. The principal cast features Brian Ogilvie (Tarzan), Jennifer Lorae (Jane), Shannan Steele (Kala) and Laurence A. Curry (Kerchak). The remaining cast includes Colin Alexander (Porter), Piper Lindsay Arpan (Ensemble), Lillian C. Brown (Ensemble), Jimmy Bruenger (Young Terk), Jean-Luc Cavnar (Ensemble), Heather Doris (Ensemble), Conrad Eck (Young Tarzan), Jake Elvig (Ensemble), Andrea Forsythe (Ensemble, Boat Mother), Kitty Skillman Hilsabeck (Ensemble, Leopard), Kaden Hinkle (Young Tarzan), Matt LaFontaine (Ensemble, Snipes), Emma C. Martin (Ensemble), Parker Redford (Ensemble), Tim Roller (Ensemble), Andrew Russell (Terk), Thomas Russo (Young Terk), Rachel Turner (Ensemble), Burke Walton (Clayton, Boat Father) and Jason Williams (Ensemble).
