RED RANGER CAME CALLING to Play Aurora Fox Mainstage, 11/28-12/21

RED RANGER CAME CALLING - A Guaranteed True Christmas Story by Berkeley Breathed will play November 28 -December 21, 2014 on the Aurora Fox Mainstage (Fridays and Saturdays November 28, 29, December 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20 at 7:30 p.m./Sundays November 30, December 7, 14, 21 2:00 p.m.).

Red Ranger Came Calling is a musical tale based on the true story of cartoonist, Berkeley Breathed's father who, at age nine, insisted on being addressed as the "Red Ranger of Mars." One Christmas during the Depression, the grumpy young boy meets a crotchety old man named Saunder Clös (could he really be Santa Claus?). Through their encounter, they manage to restore each other's faith in the magic of Christmas and leave an indelible mark on the landscape still visible today! The surprise ending will melt the heart of even the most stubborn Scrooge and grinchly Grinch. A fun alternative to A Christmas Carol, this is an AWESOME Christmas story for kids and grown-ups alike.

*Friday, November 28th - POST-SHOW OPENING NIGHT PARTY. Patrons have an opportunity to participate in our cookie exchange on stage, meet their favorite actors and take a peek behind the scenes.

* Sunday, November 30 at 2:00 p.m. - SUPER SENIOR SUNDAY. Senior tickets are just $20. Hot beverages are free. (age 60+).

* Sunday, November 30 at 2:00 p.m. - GRANDPARENTS DAY. For every senior ticket purchased at $24, get one child ticket for free.

* S'MORES NIGHTS! - Friday, December 5, 12 and 19 after the show. Join the Fox staff by the bonfire in front of the Studio Theatre, make your own S'mores and keep warm with hot chocolate.

* MEET SAUNDER CLÖS! - Sunday, December 7, 14 and 21 after the show. Kids are welcome to visit Saunder Clos on stage after the show, tell him their biggest Christmas wish and receive a candy cane. www.aurorafox.org
