After years of obscurity Tennessee Williams became famous in 1944 with THE GLASS MENAGERIE. This heralded a strong run of successes including "A Streetcar Named Desire," "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," and "Sweet Bird of Youth." Much of Williams' most acclaimed work was adapted for the cinema. He also wrote short stories, poetry, and a volume of memoirs. In 1979, four years before his death, Williams was inducted into the American Theatre Hall of Fame.
Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m.; Sundays at 6:30 p.m. and Thursday, March 24 at 7:30p.m. Single tickets are $35; $30 for seniors/students by calling 303-800-6578 or online at www.cherrycreektheatre.org.
