Performance Now presents "Anything Goes" September 11 through 27 at the Lakewood Cultural Center, 470 S. Allison Parkway in Lakewood. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m.; Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $18 - $35 and are available or online at www.performancenow.org or by calling 303-987-7845.

As the SS American heads out to sea, two unlikely pairs set off on the course to true love...proving that sometimes destiny needs a little help from a crew of singing sailors, an exotic disguise and some good old-fashioned blackmail.

Aboard the ocean liner bound from New York to London, Billy Crocker is a stowaway in love with heiress Hope Harcourt, who is engaged to Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. Nightclub singer Reno Sweeney and Public Enemy #13 Moon-face Martin aid Billy in his quest to win Hope. Peppering this hilariously bumpy ride, Anything Goes, has some of musical theatre's most memorable standards, including "I Get a Kick out of You," "It's Delovely," " You're the Top" and, of course, "Anything Goes."

"Anything Goes" features Melanie Horton as Reno Sweeney, Keith Hershman as Billy Crocker, Adam Luhrs as Lord Evelyn Harcourt, Bethany Luhrs as Hope Harcourt, Kevin Walton as Elisha Whitney and Patrick Brownson as Moonface Martin.
