INSPECTING CAROL is a comedic play written by Daniel J. Sullivan. It's describe as A Christmas Carol meets The Government Inspector meets Noises Off in a hilarious hit from Seattle. The play begins as a behind-the-scenes look at a struggling theatre's annual slapdash production of A Christmas Carol. Rehearsals are at a standstill as the group's funding is on hold pending an inspection. A man asks to audition at the small theatre and is mistaken for an informer for the National Endowment for the Arts. Everyone caters to the bewildered wanna-be actor as he is given a role in the current production. This laugh out loud spoof makes for a night at the theatre that is anything but show business as usual.
Performances are December 19, 20, 26 and 27 at 7:30 p.m., and December 21 and 28 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for youth/seniors and are available by calling (303) 450-8800. INSPECTING CAROL is sponsored by SCFD, Colorado Creative Industries, Northglenn Arts & Humanities Foundation (NAHF), and the City of Northglenn.
