NOW PLAYING: Performance Now presents FOOTLOOSE - Thru 7/1

Performance Now Theatre Company presents FOOTLOOSE (Music by Tom Snow, Lyrics by Dean Pitchford, Book by Dean Pitchford and Walter Bobbie) now through July 1st at the Lakewood Cultural Center. When Ren McCormack moves to a small town where the local government has banned dancing and rock music, he leads his classmates around the law and Reverend Shaw Moore to have a real senior prom. This romantic comedy takes place in the 1980s and is set to popular songs including “Almost Paradise,” “Holding Out For a Hero, “Let’s Hear it For the Boy,” and of course the title song “Footloose”.

Directed and Choreographed by Kelly Van Oosbree (Assisted by Ken Leist and Music Direction by Mary Daily), the cast includes Josh Bess (Ren McCormack), Chelsea Ringer (Ariel Moore), Tim Fishbaugh (Reverend Shaw Moore), Emily Macomber (Vi Moore), Joshua Kwasniewski (Willard), Amy Stuemky (Ethel McCormack), Anna Hardcastle (Rusty), Ashley Brown (Urleen), Jessica Sotwick (Wendy Jo), Travis Risner (Chuck Cranston), Andy Sievers (Travis), Patrick Brownson (Lyle), Taylor Minckley (Garvin), Matthew Satterfield (Bickle), Josh Rigo (Jeter), Stacy Baker (Irene), Shannon McCarthy (Coach Dunbar), Judith Wyatt (Eleanor Dunbar), Matthew Maxwell (Uncle Wes), Stacey Nelson (Aunt Lulu), and Kelly Mann (Betty). Rounding out the cast are ensemble members Jennifer Arfsten, Andrew Bates, Jessica Clayton, Erin Doyle, Chachi Martin, Brian Newby, Colin Roybal, Zachary Stailey, Kortni Stillwagon, Bri Tracy, Christopher Turner, and Carrie Whitelam.

Performance Now Theatre Company presents FOOTLOOSE dancing it's way into audiences hearts now through July 1 at the Lakewood Cultural Center, 470 S. Allison Parkway.
