Lucas Brothers
Comedy Works Downtown in Larimer Square
August 17 - 19
Comedians, actors, and writers the Lucas Bros (Keith and Kenny Lucas) continue their rise as two of the freshest, most dynamic new faces on the comedy scene. Most recently, the guys' first hour stand-up special, The Lucas Bros: On Drugs, premiered on Netflix. They were also seen as recurring characters on the hit Netflix series Lady Dynamite starring Maria Bamford.
Keith and Kenny are the creators of the animation series Lucas Bros. Moving Co. The brothers voiced the series' main characters; narrating hilarious, absurdist tales with, as The New York Times praised, "a disarming sweetness and a clever, stylized casualness." The brothers also hosted the web series The Super Late Morning Show on ComedyCentral.com. Additionally, the Lucas Bros starred in two seasons of the weekly sketch comedy series Friends of the People on TruTV, and they were featured in the FOX primetime series The Grinder starring Rob Lowe.
They also appeared in the blockbuster summer comedy feature film 22 Jump Street.
The guys made their late night debut when they performed stand-up on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon in 2012 and have been a favorite on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon since, with multiple appearances. They are familiar faces on Comedy Central, with appearances on several of the network's series including The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail, The High Court, and Adam Devine's House Party. The brothers were named one of Variety's "10 Comics to Watch of 2014," featured in Rolling Stone Magazine's "Hot List," appeared on the cult hit TV show Arrested Development (Netflix) and HBO's Funny As Hell, and were standouts at the prestigious Montreal "Just For Laughs" Comedy Festival.

Emmy-nominated actor Rob Schneider is known the world over for his trademark blend of character and comedic acting.
Most recently, Schneider's Netflix original series, Real Rob, loosely based on his life, released its second season on Netflix. The self-financed, eight-episode, independently produced comedy series is directed, co-written and stars Schneider with his real life wife, Mexican television producer Patricia Azarcoya. Real Rob comes two years after Rob, the CBS sitcom that Schneider also wrote, produced, and starred in.
Schneider recently starred in The Ridiculous Six with Adam Sandler, which made Netflix history with the most streams in 30 days of release. This film marks the eighteenth collaboration between the Sandler and Schneider. Their longtime friendship has spanned some twenty-five years and produced comedic hits such as Grown Ups, You Don't Mess With The Zohan, 50 First Dates, Big Daddy and The Waterboy. Sandler's Production Company, Happy Madison, produced several films written by and starring Schneider, including Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, The Hot Chick and The Animal. Schneider has appeared in 50 films since his major network TV debut in 1987 on The David Letterman Show. Rob is also remembered from his four seasons on Saturday Night Live, which earned him Emmy nominations and a Peabody Award.
In 2009, after a nearly twenty-year hiatus, Schneider made his return to stand-up comedy. He has released two albums since then, Registered Offender and Soy Sauce and the Holocaust.
