The University of Northern Colorado School of Theatre Arts and Dance's professional summer stock company, Little Theatre of the Rockies presents Catch Me If You Can by Terrance McNally, Marc Shaiman, and Scott Wittman. Directed by David Grapes II,Catch Me If You Can is a high-flying musical adventure about following your dreams no matter the cost. Catch Me If You Canfollows the journey of Frank Abagnale Jr. as he chases his dreams while trying not to be caught by the FBI. Only a teenager, Frank Jr. has become a master con man, charming his way into being a pilot, a doctor, and a lawyer, perfecting the art of counterfeiting fraudulent checks, and evading both security and the FBI. He meets many people along the way, including the love of his life, before he is cornered by FBI Agent, Carl Hanratty. Now, Frank has to make the life-changing decision to either run and continue to follow his dreams or surrender to protect the ones he loves.

Based off the true story, Catch Me If You Can is the thrilling stage adaptation to the hit 2002 film by the same name that starred Tom Hanks and Leonardo DiCaprio. The musical first premiered in 2011 and was awarded four Tony Award nominations including Best Musical. Now, Little Theatre of the Rockies is ready to bring this musical adventure to life in Northern Colorado featuring guest artists (appearing Courtesy of Actors' Equity Association) such as University of Northern Colorado alumni Keir Kirkeggard and Joseph Serrano. This show is sure to keep audiences on the edge of their seats, wondering what Frank Jr. will do next.

Catch Me If You Can runs July 26th-29th with evening performances at 7:30 PM and a Sunday matinee performance at 2:00 PM in Langworthy Theatre located in Frasier Hall on UNC Central Campus.
