The Lake Dillon Theatre Company concludes its 2013 Theatre Season with DON'T DRESS FOR DINNER by Marc Camelotti, a farce for the whole family. Committed to presenting a diverse theatre season of comedies, dramas, andmusicals, the Lake Dillon Theatre Company opens its latest offering on Friday, November 22 with performances running on select Tuesdays through Sundays until December 22.
DON'T DRESS FOR DINNER marks the second Camoletti play that the Lake Dillon Theatre Company has produced, having previously presented BOEING, BOEING in 2011 to sold out audiences.
"Marc Camoletti is one of the most professionally produced contemporary writers of farce and comedy today," explains Chris Alleman, Lake Dillon Theatre Company Producing Artistic Director, who also directs the production. "[Camoletti's]plays are hilarious, and they feature vibrant characters that are surprising relatable. Audiences will enjoy the physical comedy, romantic romps, and witty dialogue."
DON'T DRESS FOR DINNER explores the complicated, yet comic relationships of six amorous characters who converge for an unexpected weekend of romance. Mistaken identities and marital mischief collide when two long time friends, theirwives, and their mistresses converge at a country farmhouse in this hilarious, side-splitting comedy of errors.
Missy Moore (BOEING, BOEING, LEND ME A TENOR) , and Ben Whitmore (SCAPIN, BOEING, BOEING) return to the LDTC for this production in the rolesof "Suzette," "Jacqueline," and "Robert" respectively. The cast is completed by New York-based performers Eric Foltz as "George," Amanda Huxtable as "Suzanne," and Drew Lewis as "Bernard."
DON'T DRESS FOR DINNER has scenic design by Jared Grohs, lighting design by Jacob Welch, costume design by Nicole M. Harrison, sound design by Matthew Wharton, properties design by Debbie Whitmore, and stage managementby David A Loranca.
