In Search of Eckstine: A Love Story Opens at Denver Civic Theatre, 3/10

The Shadow Theatre Company has announced that "In Search of Eckstine: A Love Story" will run March 10th - 27th, 2011.  All performances will be held at The Denver Civic Theatre (Su Teatro) located at 721 Santa Fe Drive- Denver, CO. 80204.

Based on the romantic poem Tristan and Isolde, this is a modern urban tale of true love and a misguided wish. 1955 in the five-points in Denver, on a magical night the world is set in motion with the return of local legend Tristan Williams, who has come back to his true love Misty. But now he must contend with her gangster husband.

This play was created by our founder Jeffrey Nickelson & current Artistic Director Hugo Jon Sayles.
