Started in 1998, Spotlight Theatre Company begins its 19th season this August. After beginning in Westminster, they made their home in the quaint 70 seat theatre in the West Colfax E-vents Center located in the heart of Lakewood and in 2008 made the move to Old Towne Lowry to the John Hand Theater in Colorado Free University.

Spotlight continues to provide quality and entertaining theater to a growing and dynamic audience base. The goal is to produce entertaining and fun theatre that audiences will fall in love with and their motto is Forget your worries.... Escape to a night of fun!

August 27 - September 24, 2016
"Suddenly Last Summer"
by Tennessee Williams
a suspenseful and poetic masterpiece
Directed by Bernie Cardell

What really happened last summer on the beaches of Cabeza de Lobo where young Sebastian Venable mysteriously died? Catharine Holly knows, but Sebastian's mother Violet will go to any length to keep the truth hidden forever. Suspenseful and shocking, this is Tennessee Williams at his most poetic and revelatory.

"Sabrina Fair"

This classic romantic comedy was the toast of Broadway and the subject of two movie adaptations. When the daughter of a chauffeur falls in love with not one, but both sons of the wealthy Larrabee family, complications (and hilarity!) arise. Set on Long Island in the 1950's, this Cinderella story will capture your heart and tickle your funny bone!

"Scotland Road"
