The Fine Arts Center Theatre Company presents Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright, Arthur Miller‘s (Death of a Salesman, The Crucible), Tony Award-winning Best Play, All My Sons, March 19 - April 4, at the SaG?Ji Theatre.

The play revolves around Joe Keller, who is alleged to have supplied World War II fighter planes with defective engines, leading to the deaths of innocent pilots - a crime for which his business partner took the fall. One of Keller's sons, himself a pilot, is thought to have been killed in action. But his mother can't accept his death and equally, can't accept that her dead son's fiancée has transferred her affections to her other surviving son. The confrontations that ensue lead to the uncovering of a shameful family secret.

All My Sons is directed by Alan Osburn, the Producing Artistic Director of the FAC Theatre Company. Osburn has worked as a producer, director, teacher, and actor for over 30 years. His last show at the FAC was the critically acclaimed production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.

-I was very fortunate to have spent some time with Arthur Miller back in the mid 1980‘s, and actually sat next to him for a production of All My Sons,? said Osburn. -That was obviously a great thrill, but more importantly I am able to share with our company the fountain of insight that Mr. Miller shared with me about the play.

All My Sons is part of the Fine Arts Center‘s multidisciplinary project, Conflict | Resolution.
The FAC will examine the theme of Conflict | Resolution through the visual and performing arts and arts education, including Colorado Springs artists, Chris Weed and Sean O‘Meallie; and Mexican artist Carlos Aguirre; plus, the AIDS Quilt, Lost Heroes Quilt, music and dance, Bemis classes, ?Conversations in the Galleries,‘ and a film series.

With All My Sons, the FAC is offering audience -Talk Backs? with the cast and therapists from the Pikes Peak Behavioral Health Group therapists following all of the Thursday evening performances. In addition to enjoying a dialogue between audience members and the cast on the virtues and challenges of the piece, the therapists will share how members of the military deal with some of the important issues presented in the play.
