The Fine Arts Center Theatre Company, with one week remaining for the hit Gershwin musical comedy, Crazy For You, announces its 2010-2011 season.

Crazy For You runs through May 30 and is already one of the top selling shows at the Fine Arts Center of the past decade, surpassing both Pirates of Penzance and The Music Man with five shows remaining.

In April of 2011, the Fine Arts Center celebrates its 75th anniversary. In 1936, the FAC opened its doors thanks to the generosity and vision of three founders Alice Bemis Taylor, Elizabeth Sage Hare and Julie Penrose. In honor of the anniversary, first-time subscribers can purchase tickets for the entire season for just $75. Visit csfinartscenter.org for complete details.

Also, to coincide with the 75th Anniversary, the Theatre Company will present Clare Boothe Luce social satire, The Women in April. The piece was written and produced on Broadway in 1936. "This brash comedy about New York socialites fits perfectly as we remember the three courageous women who founded the Fine Arts Center," said Alan Osburn, FAC Theatre Company Producing Artistic Director.

The season will kick off in October with Oscar Wilde's play, An Ideal Husband, a brilliant 19th Century comedy of manners and intrigue. Students from the Fine Arts Center Theatre School (FACTS) will be featured in the holiday production of Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's timeless family musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

In January, Mel Brooks', The Producers will take center stage at the SaG?Ji Theatre. In 2001, The Producers became, quite simply, the winningest Broadway musical in history, earning 12 Tony Awards out of 15 nominations. The season finale will be the Tony Award-winning musical for Best Musical of the Year, 1776, a funny, insightful, and compelling musical drama that puts a human face on the pages of history.
