Denver Children's Theatre presents ART DOG, opening on Sunday, March 13th at 1 p.m. This professionally staged production will be presented to the public on Sundays through May 1st and to school groups most weekdays March 11th through May 6th at 10 a.m. The show is presented in the Elaine Wolf Theatre at the Mizel Arts and Culture Center located at 350 S. Dahlia Street in Denver and is recommended for preschool through 5th grade.

Based on the popular children's book, Art Dog by Thacher Hurd, this fast-paced theatrical

adaptation follows the adventures of mild mannered museum guard Arthur and some other colorful canine characters. Arthur's alter ego, the mysterious, masked street artist Art Dog, is accused of stealing Leonardo Dog Vinci's painting from the Dogopolis Museum of Art. It is up to Art Dog to locate the stolen masterpiece in order to clear his name.

For the past 19 years Denver Children's Theatre has produced quality theatre for young audiences, presenting fully-mounted mainstage productions featuring some of the finest
adult professional actors in Denver. This year's show is directed by Steve Wilson and Meghann Henry with music direction by Donna Debreceni and choreography by Terrell Davis. The cast includes: Katie Cross, Reace Daniel, Rachel Graham, Missy Moore, Sean Scrutchins, and Kathi Wood.
