Off-Center, a signature line of programming of the Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA), has launched their first-ever Kickstarter campaign to crowd-fund the upcoming off-site immersive experience, Sweet & Lucky, a commission by Brooklyn-based Third Rail Projects. The show is scheduled to premiere May 2016 and will be Off-Center's most ambitious project to date.

This two-hour performance takes place in a sprawling 16,000-square-foot warehouse (owned by Westfield Company) on Brighton Boulevard. Audiences will step into a mysterious antique store and plunge into a labyrinth of dreamlike encounters.

Audience members will follow performers through intricately designed environments, into intimate engagements, and witness a series of seductive and haunting flashbacks. It's a 360-degree experience that uses all five senses to evoke the power and fragility of

memories. Dive deeper into the story by exploring the props and scenery firsthand, and enjoy specialty cocktails before and after the show crafted by award-winning mixologist Sean Kenyon at a pop up version of

Kenyon's Williams and Graham.

Funds raised on Kickstarter will enable the DCPA to fully realize intricate designs for dozens of unique environments. The campaign goal breaks down to $1 per square foot that will go directly to the design elements and elevate the warehouse space to a fully immersive world. Kickstarter backers will receive access to exclusive rewards including the opportunity to weave the photo of someone close to them into the fabric of the production, a keepsake skeleton key that unlocks a unique experience upon arrival at the show, and a behind-the-scenes look at the show during a test audience performance that includes a talkback with the team.
